Tots/Pre-School Program

Here at SCGA we utilize a dedicated 1,400 square-foot pre-school and parent tot area for learning the early fundamentals of gymnastics. Within that area we have four separate stations that change every two weeks. Our teachers guide the class to meet each students’ needs.

Tots/Pre-School Program

Parent-Tot: Introduction to basic gymnastics with a strong focus on mobility, fine motor skills, balance, following directions, and sharing. Your little ones will work on fine and gross motor skills in a group setting to help your child their physical and social skills. (This class is co-ed, 45min long and requires a parent to help their child. 18 months-3 years of age)

Pre-School: This is the first class where our little ones will enter the gym ALL BY THEMSELVES! Students will enjoy activities based around gymnastics to focus on motor development, improving coordination, spatial awareness, strength, balance and body control. Following directions and working with others is an elemental part of this class. (This class is co-ed, 45min long. 3 & 4 year olds)

Super Tots (All Girls Pre-School): Introduction to basic girls gymnastics, utilizing all four girls events. There is a strong focus on agility, balance, coordination and strength. Mastery of beginning skills is elemental to higher levels. (Meets 1 hour 1 day a week.)

Pups (All Boys Pre-School): Introduction to basic boys gymnastics, utilizing all six boys events. There is a strong focus on agility, balance, coordination and strength. Mastery of beginning skills is elemental to higher levels. (Meets 1 hour 1 day a week.)

School Aged Boys' Program:

Our boys' classes focus on development of the 6 olympic boys' events (Floor, Horse, Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars, High Bar), as well as, trampoline, strength, and flexibility. Each class progresses as the levels advance.

Boys Mites’: (5-6 y.o. – 1 hour)                

Beginner Boys’: (6-8 y.o. – 1 hour)

Advanced Beginner Boys’: (8-10 y.o. – 1 hour)

Intermediate Boys’: (10-12 y.o. – 1.5 hours)

Advanced Boys’: (12 yrs.+ – 2 hours)

School Aged Girls' Program

Our girls' classes focus on development of the 4 olympic girls events (Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor), as well as, trampoline, strength, and flexibility. Each class progresses as the levels advance.

Girls Mites’: (5-6 y.o. – 1 hour)

Beginner Girls’: (6-8 y.o. – 1 hour)

Advanced Beginner Girls’: (8-10 y.o. – 1 hour)

Intermediate Girls’: (10-12 y.o. – 1.5 hours)

Advanced Girls’: (12 yrs.+ – 2 hours)

Pre-High School: (12-14 y.o. – 2 hours)

Tumble/Tramp Program

Our tramp and tumble classes focus on all skills tumbling, trampoline, and trampoline safety. This program is great for cheerleaders, dancers, and anyone who just loves to tumble and bounce on trampoline.

Beginner Tumble/Trampoline: (1 hour)

Advanced Beginner Tumble/Trampoline: (1 hour)

Intermediate Tumble/Trampoline: (1 hour)

Advanced Tumble/Trampoline: (1 hour)

Acro: (1 hour)

Boys' Training Program:

(By Recommendation or Evaluation Only)

Mighty Foxes: Boys are introduced to more technique in completing skills. They also begin to do more strength exercises. This level introduces and maintains flexibility all the while completing higher-level gymnastics. (Meets 1 hour 2 days a week)

Pre-Team: There is a strong movement towards team. This is where the boys will perform the highest-level of gymnastics without being on team. They learn basic competitive routines amid strength, flexibility, and mastery of basic and intermediate gymnastics. (Meets 2 hours 2 days a week)

Girls' Training Program:

Dynos: Girls are introduced to more technique in completing skills. They also begin to do more strength exercises. This level introduces and maintains flexibility all the while completing higher level gymnastics.(Meets 1.5 hours 2 days a week)
